Stated most simply:

We are Bible believing Jesus followers.

More specifically….

We believe...

  •    One God creator of all things, entirely perfect and existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Mark 1:9-10; Matthew 28:19)
  •    Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man (Philippians 2: 6-7). He lived a sinless life (Hebrews 4:15), died on a cross to rescue us from the consequences of out sins (Hebrews 9:28), arose bodily from the grave (Acts 2:24) and ascended to heaven where he is an advocate for us (Mark 16:19; Hebrews 9:24).
  •    The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to renovate lives (Titus 3:5), indwell and instruct Christ-Followers (1 Corinthians 6:19), convict people of sin (John 16: 7-8), guide them to truth (John 16:13), and empower believers to live a life of hope, joy, and peace (Romans 15:13)
  •    In the physical resurrection of all humankind; the believer in Christ into everlasting joy, and the unbeliever into everlasting punishment (Romans 6:5; 2nd Peter 2:9)
  •    The Bible is the inspired word of God, and is the final authority for those who follow Jesus (Hebrews 4:12; 1 Thessalonians 2:13)
  •    That God is active in everyone and that His saving grace that calls all people to faith, repentance, confession of sin, baptism, and a new life and ministry through the Holy Spirit (Romans 1:20; Acts 2:38)
  •    That the primary purpose for this church is to glorify and honor God (2 Corinthians 4:6)
  •    That Christ followers are called to carry out the “Great Commissioning” of Jesus Christ; that is, to go, into the world to share the good news to everyone, everywhere, inviting them into a relationship with Him (Mark 16:15-16)
  •    That salvation comes through the mercy and grace Jesus Christ alone. Man’s response is simple trust, displayed through repentance (Acts 3:19), baptism (Acts 2:38), and a life lived sacrificially (Romans 16: 25-27).
  •    That Christ-followers are to be devoted to the Bible’s teachings, to fellowship, worship, prayer, (Acts 2:42), and service (Ephesians 4:12)
